17th December 2024 — Komainu, a regulated digital asset services provider and custodian, backed by Nomura, announces custody support for uMINT, the first tokenized investment fund launched by UBS Asset Management and distributed through authorized partner DigiFT.
This integration provides uMINT token holders with a secure, regulated custody solution, backed by Komainu’s robust security measures and compliance framework.
Paul Frost-Smith, Co-CEO at Komainu, said: “At Komainu, our mission is to empower the digital asset ecosystem by offering secure, compliant, and innovative digital asset services. We are delighted to be partnering with DigiFT to provide custody support to uMINT token holders, highlighting our commitment to supporting a diverse range of digital assets and fostering greater adoption of tokenized investments.”
uMINT is a Money Market investment underpinned by high quality money market instruments based on a conservative, risk-managed framework. This platform offers a comprehensive suite of digital asset services that seek to bring decentralized finance opportunities to a broader range of market participants. Through DigiFT, investors can subscribe to uMINT using their preferred custody wallet solution and benefit from real-time redemption capabilities.
“Our partnership with Komainu represents a significant step forward in bringing secure and regulated tokenized investment solutions to institutional investors. By integrating Komainu’s robust custody framework with DigiFT’s compliant and innovative tokenization platform, we are enabling uMINT investors to experience the next generation of financial markets with enhanced security, transparency, and operational efficiency”, remarked Henry Zhang, CEO of DigiFT.
