1) Singapore’s DigiFT wins regulatory approvals from MAS after graduating from Sandbox [CoinDesk]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-“DigiFT is the first exchange with an automatic market making mechanism to have been admitted into the MAS FinTech Regulatory Sandbox,” said founder Henry Zhang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) BlackRock, Bitwise file updated spot Bitcoin ETF applications with the SEC [The Block]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The commission said it will have until January 2024 to reach a decision on the spot Ether investment vehicle or institute proceedings to extend the deadline again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) BlackRock received $100K seed funds for Bitcoin ETF \u2014 SEC filing [Cointelegraph]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The SEC filing revealed that the investor agreed to purchase 4,000 shares for $100,000 on Oct. 27, 2023, at $25.00 per share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) Envision partners with HBAR and UN on new digitization platform for carbon markets [Cointelegraph]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Envision Blockchain and the HBAR Foundation have teamed up with the UN to create a new suite of decentralized tech to streamline the complex carbon markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5) IBM Introduces New Cold Storage Tech for Crypto Assets [CoinDesk]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The new Offline Signing Orchestrator tech is being used by IBM\u2019s long standing partner in the crypto space, Ripple-owned custody firm Metaco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6) Italy and South Korea central banks agree on CBDC cooperation [Cointelegraph]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The central banks of Italy and South Korea announced a memorandum of understanding in the development and deployment of CBDCs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7) Tokenization of RWAs gets push in Europe as AXA, Generali buys SocGen’s green bonds on Ethereum [CoinDesk]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– SocGen said tokenized bonds provide greater transparency and traceability, as well as speedier transactions and settlements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8) Standard Chartered-Backed Zodia Custody joins Ripple-Owned Metaco\u2019s global crypto storage network [CoinDesk]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
