1) BlackRock CEO Larry Fink backs Ether ETF [CoinDesk]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The asset management giant may now be looking to list an equivalent product for ether, the native token of the Ethereum blockchain, as part of its ongoing journey toward tokenization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) ProShares files for five leveraged and inverse bitcoin ETFs [The Block]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– One of those funds \u201cseeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, that correspond to two times (2x) of the daily performance of the Bloomberg Galaxy Bitcoin Index,\u201d according to the prospectus materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Filecoin Foundation explores space for decentralized storage system [Cointelegraph]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Filecoin Foundation president Marta Belcher explained that centralized architecture can face issues like files getting corrupted when in space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) Hong Kong Virtual Asset Consortium removes XRP from global crypto index [Cointelegraph]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Solana took over XRP\u2019s position in HKVAC\u2019s top five cryptocurrencies global index, with AVAX replacing Tron amid market fluctuations in the past 30 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5) US senators call for investigation of SEC over \u2018compromised\u2019 Bitcoin ETF tweet [Cointelegraph]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Senators Ron Wyden and Cynthia Lummis questioned the SEC\u2019s lack of multifactor authentication and phishing-resistant hardware tokens for its X account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The Monetary Authority of Singapore would be able to give written directions on conducting unregistered business among several new powers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
