1) BlackRock’s Ethereum ETF plan is confirmed in Nasdaq filing  [CoinDesk]

– The world’s largest asset manager has already made waves by seeking to list a bitcoin ETF. 

2) HSBC to offer tokenized securities custody service for institutions [CoinDesk]

– HSBC, one of the world’s largest banks, said it plans to start a digital-assets custody service for institutional clients focusing on tokenized securities in conjunction with Swiss crypto safekeeping specialist Metaco. 

3) Bogus BlackRock XRP filing spoofs ETF watchers, crypto traders [CoinDesk]

– A regulatory filing suggesting the company had taken a first step toward doing so is fake, a spokesperson said shortly after the news began circulating on social media.

– Cathay Securities is permitted to issue $930,000 worth of tokenized green bonds every six months. 

8) Standard Chartered unit, SBI Holdings team up to invest $100 million in crypto startups [The Block]

– SC Ventures, the investment arm of the Standard Chartered bank, and SBI Holdings, the Japanese financial conglomerate, have partnered to set up a $100 million crypto vehicle in the United Arab Emirates.
