The Point Zero Forum, held in Zurich, Switzerland, is an annual platform that fosters dialogue between the public and private sectors to advance FinTech in the digital economy. The forum brings together 1,000 central bankers, regulators, and industry leaders for leadership dialogues, workshops, and networking opportunities. The Point Zero Forum 2023 was hosted by Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister, Heng Swee Keat, on June 26. The event aims to drive the growth of transformative technology and promote appropriate governance and risk frameworks. 

DigiFT hosted a lively workshop on June 26, 2023, which featured a distinguished panel of experts, including DigiFT’s CEO, Henry, Adrian Ang, a partner at the leading law firm Allen & Gledhill LLP, Alexandre Kech, Head of Digital Securities at SIX Digital Exchange, and Ronit Ghose, Global Head, Future of Finance, Citi Global Insights. The focal point of the discussion was the compelling topic, “Is Real-World Asset Tokenization the Killer App? Status, Issues, and Opportunities.” This workshop provided a unique platform for these prominent figures to share their extensive knowledge and experiences within the rapidly evolving landscape of blockchain and digital finance. Each speaker offered invaluable insights and perspectives, fostering a rich and informative dialogue.

On June 27, 2023, Henry, Founder & CEO of DigiFT, took part in a high-level roundtable convened by the BIS Innovation Hub. This prestigious gathering featured an array of luminaries, including representatives from government regulatory agencies, esteemed traditional financial institutions, and prominent figures within the Web3 ecosystem.

Among the notable attendees were Mr. Alan Lim, representing the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Mr. Matthias Obrecht from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), and Ms. Nidhi Shanbhag from Citigroup. The roster also included senior representatives from prominent projects, including Circle, Curve, and Uniswap.

The event sparked innovative ideas and offered invaluable insights. As a forward-thinking leader, Henry continues to contribute to meaningful dialogues that bridge the gap between traditional financial systems and emerging blockchain technologies.

Additionally, DigiFT published a research paper with the theme “Can DeFi Achieve Sustainable Growth?” on Point Zero Forum.
